Onitsuka Tiger is pleased to announce the opening of its new flagship store near Nagoya Station on Friday, August 7.
Following the opening of the world’s largest global flagship store in Shinjuku in July 2026, this new store will serve as a large-scale location with the second-largest floor area in Japan. The area around Nagoya Station is a broad regional gateway where many people come and go not only from within Aichi Prefecture, but also from the Tokai and Chubu regions, including Gifu, Mie, and Shizuoka prefectures. It is also an area that can be described as the face of the city, where visitors from across Japan and overseas first encounter Nagoya. Onitsuka Tiger positions Nagoya as a new key location in the Tokai and Chubu regions, and will develop the store as a place where visitors can experience not only its products, but also the craftsmanship and aesthetic sensibility behind the brand.
The store unites the entire brand portfolio under one roof: Heritage, a modern reinterpretation of the archives from Onitsuka Tiger; Contemporary, showcasing collections from Milan Fashion Week from ONITSUKA TIGER; and Formality, featuring the brand’s formal footwear category from THE ONITSUKA.
The store design is inspired by Nagoya’s cultural sophistication and the strength of the city as an industrial hub. Comprising two floors, the store further expands the brand’s identity through a design language rooted in refined combinations of materials, precision, rhythm, and contemporary expression.

The first floor is designed as an open and fluid space. Terrazzo and steel form a neutral yet sophisticated backdrop, enhancing the visibility of the products while encouraging a natural flow through the store. Suspended overhead, luminous boxes reminiscent of traditional Japanese “andon” lanterns create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, enriching the depth and impression of the space.

The second floor transitions into a more intimate and serene atmosphere. Rosso Lepanto marble becomes the focal point of the space, forming surfaces that function both as displays and as sculptural elements. The combination of marble and steel creates a warm, immersive environment that invites visitors to explore at a relaxed pace.
As Onitsuka Tiger continues to position its stores as places where visitors can experience the brand’s values and story, this new store, as a flagship store with the second-largest floor area in Japan and bringing together all brand categories, will offer a new brand experience to customers.
