- What inspired you to choose a retail position?
The ability to directly communicate the excellence of our products to customers was a key factor. Additionally, during the job search process, I was impressed by the way ASICS Japan thoroughly explained the company’s philosophy, history, structure, and career advancement opportunities. This made it easy for me to envision my future with the company, which ultimately led me to choose ASICS Japan.
What do you find satisfying about your current work?
Currently, as an Area Manager, I analyze and evaluate data from staff and store managers. Based on this information, I strategize and execute tactics, and the sense of fulfillment comes when these efforts result in success. The most rewarding part is when our strategies bring joy to customers and make the staff members who serve them smile.
What would you like to challenge in the future at ASICS?
I aspire to contribute to a company management style that enriches its employees. Through our products and services, I believe we can enrich the lives and hearts of our customers, and to achieve that, it’s essential for us to enrich our own hearts as well. The implementation of mandatory planned leave and the efforts to minimize overtime have led to more time spent with loved ones and family, which has been a great improvement. Moving forward, I hope to continue driving improvements in work-life balance, elevate employee satisfaction, and contribute to steering the entire company in a positive direction.
